About Us....

Membership

Why not join us and learn new skills, gain self-confidence and make a lot of new friends!

The membership of CDS is one large family with many partnerships and friendships amongst it's members. In addition to our common interests in theatre and the arts, we do like a good party! We hold events for members throughout the year, including, B-B-Q's, Quizzes, Theatre trips and more.

So ask yourself...

Do you have a lot of spare time?

Bored of doing nothing?

Want to do something creative and constructive?

Fancy a change and a challenge?

If so, why not pop in and see us: I'm sure we could find you something to do that's rewarding and worthwhile!

There's a lot more to producing a play than just what you see performed on stage. So if you want to be making costumes or building scenery for one production and designing a poster for another we are the group for you. You will be given on-the-job tuition and training if you need it, so you won't be thrown in at the deep end. You don't even need to be an actor and no previous experience is necessary.

There is a small annual subscription and there are some concessions available. We meet at 8pm every Wednesday at Codsall Village Hall. So come along and meet us, there is always someone available to talk and answer any questions you may have.

Please see our F.A.Q. below if want to know a bit more about joining Codsall Dramatic Society. Alternatively, why not contact us and find out more!

F.A.Q membership

1.How much does it cost?

Currently the costs of subscription are as follows;

  • Full Membership - £27.50 per annum
  • Senior Citizens - £22.50 per annum
  • Students - £14.00 per annum
  • 1 Play Children - £5.00
  • 1 Play Adults - £10.00

I think you will agree that this represents good value for money and there are not many organised group activities with fees this low!

The number of group members that attend regularly is in the region of 20 to 25. But we do have around a dozen or so other people that come to help with productions on and off through the year too. (see above)
