When a play opens with a dinner party nobody knows what course it will follow. Will there be knife twisting drama, thrills served chilled or a light sprinkle of comedy. This play has a good measure of all of these as the cast tuck into each other with gusto.
The play looks at the lives of actors and at some of the things that appear important to them. It takes a bit of a sideswipe at the acting profession, through the egos of the performers, whilst changing personal relationships both onstage and off are the cause of both disquiet and great hilarity.
Our cast has had to work especially hard with this production as a number of pieces of dialogue are repeated within the play. This is particularly challenging for actors but provides the seeds that will grow into laughter as the action plays out. While our cast of thespians examine their art and lives we hope that you will enjoy their predicaments as much as we have enjoyed preparing the play for you.
